The Lord allowed me the privilege of growing up in a pastor’s home on the mission field of Hinton, Alberta, Canada. My parents prayed for a music teacher and started me in piano lessons at age six; I continued in lessons and daily practice for the next thirteen years. At age twelve, I had the opportunity to begin playing congregational hymns at my church. During this time, the Lord taught me to improvise and play by ear, which would shape the rest of my music career. At age fourteen, the Lord allowed me to start Joyful Noise Piano Studio, where I began teaching private piano lessons, desiring to train the next generation to serve and worship the Lord in the local church. Three years later, I enrolled in The Royal Conservatory of Music and, with the help of my piano teacher, completed levels eight and nine of in-depth classical training, including studies in harmony, history, and music notation.

In 2022, the Lord moved my family and me off the mission field to the beautiful state of West Virginia. Although this was not an easy transition, the Lord comforted me by giving music ideas that later became arrangements. After receiving a diagnosis of type one diabetes in 2023, again the Lord used hymns to guide me to surrender my plans and dreams to His desires for my life. Over the next two years, I began online classes to complete the Christian Life Certificate and graduated from The Crown College of the Bible in 2025. The following spring, I recorded my first album, praying to encourage others in their personal walk with God. Looking back, I am so thankful for the Lord’s guiding hand on this journey.
